Brian Elias
Brian Elias is one of a handful of Directors responsible for Intellectual Property Product Management at Reed Tech. He has worked in the online information industry for over 27 years and held various intellectual property related positions, including Director, IP Strategy and Development, for Matthew Bender, LexisNexis IP Online Content Product Manager and IP Product Analyst. Brian is a registered U.S. patent attorney, with a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Miami University of Ohio. He is a member of the Colorado and Pennsylvania bars.
Dave Stitzel
Dave Stitzel is an IP Solutions Consultant at Reed Tech®, a LexisNexis® Company. Prior to joining Reed Tech, Dave obtained extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications as a patent attorney with various intellectual property law firms, including over five years with Oblon, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt.
Dave also has two years of experience as a chemical and biotechnology patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to having over three years of experience as a research molecular geneticist at Duke University Medical Center, Dave obtained extensive experience in organic and polymer chemistry while working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a research chemist for four years. Dave has a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law, and a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Wright State University. Dave is registered to practice before the USPTO. He is also a member of the North Carolina and Pennsylvania bars.
